Advice For Members

TEACHERLINE

Teacherline is a free service for all teachers, including trainees, which provides 24 hour confidential support and advice.

Teacherline's fully-qualified counsellors understand the issues and challenges facing today's teachers. All have worked in, or with, the teaching profession. As well as being able to give practical advice and information, they are trained to support callers in finding solutions to problems.

Visit the Teacherline website www.teacherline.org.uk or call 08000 562 561.

All calls to Teacherline are completely confidential. The line is open 24 hours a day, every day, and you don't have to be in a crisis situation to call. No problem will be considered too large or too small.

Teacherline can help with issues that could be affecting you, such as:

  • Conflict at work and workload problems
  • Dealing with difficult pupils
  • Coping with the stress of OFSTED
  • Loss of confidence or motivation
  • Financial or personal concerns.
