End Child Poverty:

Urge Your MP to Take Action

Fair Play for Children in Wales

Per pupil funding in Wales is, on average, £496 per year less than in England. The draft budget for 2010 offers no opportunity to close that gap. If this budget is approved and ratified by the Assembly, education in Wales will see a decrease in finding in real terms. School will be unable to provide an adequate service for their pupils and communities. Teachers' jobs will be threatened. Class sizes will i n crease. Resources will be cut. Standards will fall. The NUT is campaigning against this injustice. Our young people deserve better. Join the NUT campaign for fair funding in Wales. Sign the online petition.
